St. John’s Episcopal Church and iMiracleProject Upcoming Events

iMiracleProject is partnering with St. John’s Episcopal Church in Kirkland for meaningful events that you don’t want to miss!

St. John’s Kirkland to match $15,000 in donations!

Friday, February 24th

The Vigil and Q&A panel “From Kirkland to Kyiv in Solidarity and Support”

On the 1-year anniversary of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Father Michael Ryan of St. John’s will lead a public vigil. We invite you to join us in reflection and prayer.

Following the vigil, iMiracleProject will host an information session and Q&A panel moderated by Fr. Michael. The panel will open with Congresswoman Suzan DelBene who represents Washington’s 1st Congressional District and has taken the lead on the legislative initiatives of the Ukraine issue. The panel will also feature Greg Hope, Director of Diocese of Olympia’s Refugee Resettlement Office, iMiracleProject Board member, Rick Steckler, who recently returned from on-the-ground work in Ukraine and Ben Sterciuc, Founder & Chairman of the Board at Vital Solutions. The panel will discuss the following topics:

  • What is currently happening in Ukraine?

  • What are the legislative initiatives addressing the issue?

  • What are the critical needs of those affected by the war?

  • What are humanitarian organizations doing to help?

  • What project initiatives are most successful?

  • What can YOU do to help?

The event is free and open to the public. Donations are greatly appreciated and will be matched by St. John’s Kirkland Episcopal Church but are not required.

Aid is now more necessary than ever, as many civilians have returned to major cities where Russian bombings have escalated after a brief period of abatement. iMiracleProject is working with partners to bring food, warm clothes, rechargeable lights, propane stoves, tourniquets and more to civilians in need.

Fundraising event “Chords and Cuisine for Ukraine”

iMiracleProject and St. John’s Kirkland are hosting a fundraising event, “Chords and Cuisine for Ukraine,” where St. John’s will kindly match up to $15,000 in donations! These funds will help pay for the shipment to Ukraine of vital medical supplies, which have been generously donated by a Fife-based company, Scott’s Dental Supply.

Each container of medical supplies costs around $14,000 to ship. We currently have three containers ready, but we can take three more containers full of supplies if we raise enough money to ship them.

We invite you to experience this heartwarming multimodal event featuring traditional Ukrainian cuisine, classical piano performances, and an overview of our humanitarian aid programs. There will be an opportunity to donate funds, which will be matched by St. John’s. 100% of the net proceeds will go to support the people of Ukraine. Sponsors who help underwrite this event will receive special recognition at the event and on our social media pages. Sponsorship details are provided below.
